Ffestiniog Railway 2010

King of the narrow gauge, the Ffestiniog has it all. Shot in 2010 this superb programme brings you the lot! Superb steam action, shots behind the scenes in the works, following the trains into the mountains, with scenic shots from off the trains and at the lineside and maps to show where you are. With an informative commentary that simply does not get in the way of the sound - but tells you all sorts of interesting things you may not know.

You’ll follow Earl of Merioneth and Merddin Emrys up and down the line, and see two Fairlies cross. You’ll see the feisty Blanche giving her all, but best of all, you'll travel on one of the first test trips in front of the new locomotive Lyd - and you will be able to thrill to amazing shots of Lyd chasing the train, and see her right next to the camera as well as running past.

Shot in wide screen and high-definition, this excellent programme also includes a high-speed run from Port to Blaenau!
